One of our projects here at the Lab is to bring online an Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer.
What does this equipment do?
This allows you to detect extremely small concentrations of various elements. This has an incredibly wide range of applications, but we will most likely focus on things like Soil Analysis, Water Quality Analysis, and Food analysis, looking for metals like Mercury, Lead, and Cadmium.
